Recently, I was implementing a project outside and met an installation master. He was not only experienced but also extremely serious about his work. Whenever he had time, he would turn on his mobile phone and take online classes. Chatting with him, I learned that the master was born in the 70s. Due to family financial problems, he did not go to college after graduating from high school. After working, he worked as an assembly line worker, a small foreman, and a project manager. When he was in a certain company, the boss appreciated him and gave him the opportunity to learn PLC programming, and he gradually mastered various intelligent network engineering installation and deployment. Although his work was excellent, he felt limited by his education. After working for many years, the ceiling was obvious, and he could only engage in on-site work. Last year, he started to study for a college diploma by himself, and he will graduate and get the certificate this year. He also plans to take the undergraduate diploma later. The master joked that his son would take the college entrance examination next year, and he hoped to be admitted to the university with his son. Thinking of the allusion of Liang Hao and Liang Gu, “father and son champions”, it is rare for a father and son to be champions at the same time for thousands of years, but it is common for a family to be ministers for generations. I wish the master and his son to win the top prize together. Dreams never die, ideals never extinguish, and hope is always there.

The master works on site every day, in the scorching heat and cold winter, with difficult conditions, but he still insists on learning and making progress. I feel extremely hardworking and feel good about myself just by working overtime at night. After working at night, not swiping the phone before going to bed, and reading a book for a while makes me the most diligent person in the world. Life is like a seedling in spring, you don’t see it grow, but it grows every day. Every day when you go to sleep, you improve a little bit compared to when you got up in the morning. Over time, you will make great progress.

The older I get, the more I turn a blind eye to common sense excellent qualities such as diligence, hard work, and persistence. When I see someone working a little harder, or even being serious, I always snort two weird tones from my nostrils, and even make two sarcastic remarks. Compared with having fun, or even eating, drinking, whoring, gambling, and smoking, this is the greatest depravity.

In the poverty alleviation policy, there is a classic strategy: poverty alleviation first supports ambition. If ambition is not established, poverty alleviation will return to poverty. How to live a good life, the first thing is to solve the problem of ambition. To achieve things, you must first establish ambition. Ambition is the original intention and mission. Only with ambition and goals can you withstand temptation and endure loneliness, cross one hill and then cross the next hill, until death, even if no one is waiting.
